This blog is a bit of a failed experiment. It’s hard to get any traction when updates are so infrequent. However, it is useful when I want to post something long-form, and it’s ideal for a post like this. Having said that, the domain and web site come up for renewal soon. It's not been the best of years, particularly with regard to my job prospects. Due to my age, and the length of time I've been out of work, partly for health reasons, it's unlikely that I'll be writing software for a living again. As a result, in the new year, I'll be looking for work outside of the software industry. On the bright side, my health is much improved.
